Some of us still place value in these “old things”. We designate old houses, “heritage homes”. We call old cars, “vintage”. We re-value old furniture as “antiques.”
Isn’t it strange how everything in life goes around in cycles; what was considered old fashion, is in vogue again. Brand new “heritage” style homes are very popular with the younger generation. Even Hockey teams are going back to their Vintage jerseys. The “old” become “new”.
There are many old traditions worth keeping like family values, spiritual practices like prayer, meditation and fasting.
Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or by our epistle. 2 Thessalonians 2:15 (NKJV)
