With the advent of the GPS we, the navigationally-challenged guys, don’t need to stop for directions anymore. Although the other day while I was attempting to lead two other carloads of friends to a member’s home, got us all lost. As it turned out, the wife had given me the wrong address, so the GPS was correct, but we ended up going the wrong way.
It was a good reminder concerning the responsibility we have in leading others who may depend on us for direction and counsel.
The beauty of the GPS is the built-in program that immediately makes corrections when we miss a turn or an exit. The onus is on the driver to accept the corrections by “faith” and take the necessary actions to get back on course.
“People who accept correction are on the pathway to life, but those who ignore it will lead others astray.” Proverbs 10:17
