Summertime

Although it's not officially summer yet, it certainly feels like it. Long, hot sunny days with no rain in sight. Barbeques in the park, children building sandcastles on the beach, sun-worshippers baking in the sun, and all the sights and sounds that accompany summer. The sea shimmers and sparkles with a million reflections.

It's great to be alive on a day like this.

Even the flowers in my garden seem to come alive with the sun smiling down on them.

Life is a mix of seasons - learning to appreciate them all adds to ones joy and enjoyment, regardless of the present predicaments.
