As soon as the sun filters through the drapes, it's on the road again we go! For many people, it's the destination that motivates them to endure a long road trip. Through the years, I've learned to appreciate the drive itself. It's on these long 'lonely' roads (the family usually falls asleep the moment the car engine starts up) that I get great moments to contemplate the events of the past weeks and months. Missed opportunities, magic moments, messed up conversations because of insensitivity, and must do again situations.
Took us two days -but we made it to Vegas!
